HealthShare programs are the leading a low-cost alternative to traditional health insurance. A HealthShare is a non-profit entity organized for the purpose of paying qualified medical costs with member contributions.
While insurance companies usually pay a percentage of medical costs after the deductible, our HealthShare partner will share up to 100% of medical expenses after the initial member responsibility amount is paid.
HealthShare Unshared Amount How does it Work?
- Initial Unshareable Amount, or IUA is the amount members are responsible for paying when a medical event occurs.
- UA options $1,500, $3,000, or $6,000.
- Members pay a single UA for all eligible medical expenses, per incident.
- Max 2 UA responsibility in 12-months
- Holistic and alternative medical treatments allow members freedom from the constraints of traditional health insurance.
